Though today many new dresses like lehenga and salwar kammez has come up to give competition to sarees but still its redolence is in everyone’s thoughts. Furthermore fashion designers exploration about them has added greater appeal to them. It has opened many options for brides with respect to everything like color, designs, length etc. Unlike earlier red is no more the fixed color has to be worn by brides in wedding. No doubt red color is very appealing and will always be but other colors have also greatly come into frame for brides. Indian brides make their own fashion statement today.

Bridal Sarees are designed with caboodles of embroidery and embellishments like beads, sequins, rhinestones, lace, Zari embroidery, zardosi embroidery, organza, cutwork, mirror work, patchwork, pearl work, kasab, kundan, tikkies etc. Though it’s not complulsory to wear heavy work sarees only on wedding, simple ones also do well. There is no compulsion on Indian brides today about wear. They are free to wear anything.
